The Story and Family behind Sola Gratia Goods
Our story
The Love of baking sourdough bread came from a season of healing, and grief as Nicole processed the loss of her sweet mother, Angela, known as “Honey.” Through this journey she began to understand how a single loaf of bread can bring family, friends, and people together to enjoy community and goodness.
In the photo that Nicole and Tim are together in above, they discovered on this particular day that they were expecting their 3rd baby. A few weeks later, a couple of Days after Christmas, they lost this baby to miscarriage.
Sola Gratia Goods was birthed on this babies due date, as a representation of how it was God’s goodness, and grace alone that sustained their family through a season of grief and healing.
Now they long to bring healing to people through wellness and community with the goods that they make, and what God provides through their suburban homestead.
